 Note: Currently, herbalism is not a recognized health care modality in North Carolina. As such, there is no state or national licensing for herbal practitioners at this time, however there is national certification and registration.

I, Violet Moon, am a Certified Clinical Herbalist, having graduated from the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine’s clinical class in November of 2016. My training includes a combination of herbs and flower essences, with a focus on holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

My approach is to combine alternative healing methods with the latest scientific findings and clinical practices. Because each person is unique, I use various healing methods to best support individuals and create a personalized experience.

My goal is to offer you the support needed to restore your ability to experience balance and harmony in your health. My assessment comes down to identifying patterns within the body systems and finding links & connections in order to best support the body as a whole. Using this information I will make recommendations that may include nutrition, herbs, supplements, and/or lifestyle shifts, in order to create balance between the mental/emotional, physical, and spiritual body.

I am NOT a medical doctor nor do I practice standard Western medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment. I do not claim to cure any disease, nor do I offer advice about the use of any type of pharmaceuticals or prescribed medications. If you have any questions or concerns about your health I encourage you to discuss them with your primary care doctor, and to share my recommendations with any other health care professional you work with.

I maintain an extensive herbal apothecary and sell products made by myself, separately from the consultation. I offer them as a convenience and to ensure clients are receiving specific, individualized herbal formulas. Clients are, of course, not obligated to buy any products from me directly, and I encourage clients to purchase supplements wherever is most convenient or preferable for them. Any recommended nutritional/herbal supplements I suggest are not meant to be a replacement for the medications prescribed by your Medical Doctor.

Any and all information given to me by you in our consultation is entirely confidential and your information will never be shared with anybody, ever, without your explicit consent. I am available to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
