Elderflower Tincture Sambucus nigra
Elderflower
Botanical Name: Sambuccus nigra
Similar to Elderberry, Elderflower is often used to reduce the duration and the symptoms of the common cold & flu/fever. Elderflower is immunomodulating (bringing the immune system into a state of homeostasis), is an anti-inflammatory, and circulation stimulant. Helpful to reduce symptoms of sinusitis, coughs, and fevers. Elderflower can also be used as a wash for inflammation topically, is used for hay fever, and used as a nasal decongestant.
Suggested Use:
Shake well. Take 1-3 mL (dropperfuls), 2-3 times a day, or as needed.
Those who are sensitive to the taste of herbal extracts, I recommend adding the dosage to a tablespoon or so of water or juice.
