Black Cohosh Tincture Actaea racemosa
Black Cohosh
Botanical Name: Actaea racemosa
Black Cohosh is an herb often known by its affinity for hormonal regulation in general, though especially of those estrogen-dependent. Black Cohosh has also been used to help stimulate labor, a tonic for menopause, relax muscles, and help reduce anxiety.
Black Cohosh is also an anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, helps with rheumatic pain, sciatica, and helps to balance the menstrual cycle.
Although this herb has been used to help stimulate labor, it is absolutely NOT safe to take during the pregnancy until the last month/few weeks.
Suggested Use:
Shake well. Take 1-4 mL (dropperfuls), 2-3 times a day.
Those who are sensitive to the taste of herbal extracts, I recommend adding the dosage to a tablespoon or so of water or juice.
This product is not intended to treat, mitigate, prevent, diagnose, or cure any serious disease or medical condition.
