Gotu Kola
Botanical Name: Centella asiatica
Gotu Kola is an adaptogen, helping the body to adapt to stressful situations internally and externally. Gotu Kola is also a powerful anti-inflammatory, a wound healer, antimicrobial, and blood purifier. Gotu Kola supports circulation, is astringent, reduces anxiety and helps to reduce melancholy. Joint health improves with regular use as does skin healing response and production of collagen. Diabetics may find relief with the use of Gotu Kola as it tends to reduce side effect complications. Cellulitis, ulcers, increases circulation, helps reduce varicose veins, and other skin issues such as eczema and psoriasis. Gotu Kola may help with endometriosis pain as well. Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ADD, epilepsy, and Dementia issues may also benefit from Gotu Kola use.

Avoid while pregnant or breastfeeding. Anyone with a history of precancerous or cancerous skin lesions, or who have liver disease/take medications that affect the liver should avoid gotu kola.
